Our abc Promise
At abc carpet & home, we stand behind the curation and craftsmanship of our products and want every purchase to be a positive experience. We will do our best to make things right if you are not satisfied.
Payment
In-Stock Orders, Stock-Coming Orders, Dropship Orders:
Payment in full is required at the time of sale.
Custom Orders & Special Orders:
Custom or Special Orders require a 50% deposit. Full payment of the balance is required once the order arrives and is ready for delivery, installation, or pickup.
Custom or Special Order merchandise is being ordered to meet the customer's specifications and is therefore non-returnable.
Custom or Special Orders can be canceled within 48 hours of the original sale. After 48 hours, abc will retain a 50% cancellation fee of the purchase price. The balance will be refunded to the original method of payment* (*excluding cash purchases, which will be refunded by a corporate check mailed to the provided billing address within 2 weeks)
Payment in full by cash or check are required at the time of sale.
Delivery/Pickup/Installation/Storage:
We will strive to continue making room for more great pieces for your next remodel. Please help us in retrieving purchased items in a timely fashion so we can respect everyone’s needs and timelines. Please see below for specifics.
The customer agrees to accept delivery/pickup/installation of all merchandise within 30 days of availability.
Please arrange for delivery or pick-up of your items within 30 days. We need to make room for more great stuff for your next remodel. Orders held over 30 days of availability will be charged a 4% monthly storage fee.
Items purchased from the showroom floor must be picked up within 5 days. After 5 days the order is subject to cancellation & refund.
Orders held over 6 months of availability will be canceled without refund.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all furniture will fit through doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into the final location.
abc's deliveries for lighting, wall décor, mirrors, includes delivering the package into the home, but does not include unpacking the item(s), removing packaging from the home, or assembling or installing the item(s). Professional assembly and installation is highly recommended.The customer should inspect the item(s) prior to the delivery team leaving.
abc’s delivery team is not permitted to move furniture or other items currently in customers' homes. To facilitate smooth delivery, please clear the space where furniture or rugs will be placed prior to delivery.
The customer is required to pay additional delivery fees for furniture that needs to be walked up through the staircase. There is no charge for the first two flights.
An authorized person must be home during the delivery window to accept and inspect customer’s items and sign the delivery receipt.
The customer is required to state any imperfections or damage to the product(s) upon receipt or delivery by indicating any issues on the delivery receipt. We will not be able to accept the claim without proper documentation.
The customer may reschedule a delivery date by giving abc at least 48 hours prior notice; otherwise the customer will be responsible for additional fee equal to the original delivery fee.
Warranty/Claims/Remedies
abc’s products are warranted for one full year from defects in materials and workmanship.
At abc’s discretion and upon inspection, we will repair, replace or make a price adjustment to correct a defect. Defects caused from normal wear and tear, exposure to the elements, unintended uses and/or improper care are exempt from coverage. Additional manufacturer’s warranty may apply. abc’s and manufacturer’s warranties do not apply to Final Sale or merchandise sold in “as is” condition.
Other
abc is not responsible for delays in deliveries due to strikes, accidents, late shipments from the manufacturer or other causes beyond our control.
abc relies on the manufacturer's representations regarding source or type of material in products. The information is believed to be accurate but it is not guaranteed.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
